Pest alert... the impact of last month's unseasonably warm weather
This year's unseasonably warm weather and early spring has the trees blooming and the bulbs flowering much earlier than normal. This early wakeup call holds true for insects and other pests as well.
Our technicians are already reporting many cases of carpenter ant activity this year and that doesn’t normally occur until the end of April or early May. In addition, odorous house ants are already trailing on the exterior of houses trying to establish early foraging trails.
Be on the lookout for increased ant activity and if you do have an infestation be sure to contact us immediately. You can even try out our new online chat to do so.
Contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
