Mademoiselle de Margaux
They are finally here! There is nothing like the annual arrival of these chocolate treats to make us feel like the holidays are truly here. It’s always fun to share these chocolates in the store ... only those that are severely allergic to cocoa refuse. Even those with stressed-out holiday frowns brighten up when we offer a taste of these chocolate cherries or twigs.
Imagine what it will do for you and your guests ...
Whether twigs, grapes or cherries, you can see and taste the passion Mademoiselle de Margaux puts into every piece of their chocolates. Imagine pitted griotte (morello) cherries dipped in Armagnac and then coated in rich, dark chocolate. Named "La Guinette," the slight tart fruitiness of the cherries pairs perfectly with the warmth of the Armagnac, which blend gorgeously with the richness of fine dark chocolate - the combination is beyond description. The perfect, grown-up indulgence.
This is how chocolate-covered cherries are supposed to taste.
Or, imagine delicate chocolate twigs dotted with chocolate bits. Just right for a quick afternoon treat, or the perfect accompaniment to your after-dinner espresso! Perfect for dressing up any cake - whether it is a chocolate cake or a pan-cake. They add sophistication to just about everything!

About the smoked Berkshire Ham
"Seattle's A&J Meats...makes the best baked ham I've ever eaten. A&J uses Berkshire pigs, one of the most highly regarded of the heritage breeds. ... The pork flavor and smokiness (also from apple wood and done to order) in the A&J ham were in perfect balance. Just as important, the moist meat still tasted great the next day — and the next and the next." — Sam Gugino in Wine Spectator
This wonderful, smoked-to-order,
whole leg of ham is prepared the old-fashioned way. Cured in a secret-recipe of salt and sugar brine, the Berkshire ham is then smoked with famed Washington State applewood. It's never too smoky with only a hint of sweetness - the perfect main course for your favorite gathering! Enough to feed a small army, this ham will feed your desires for a long time.
About the smoked Heritage Turkey
This phenomenal smoked heritage bird was chosen by The New York Times as the best smoked turkey in the country! This naturally raised, free-range turkey is smoked by our favorite master butcher Rick Friar of A&J Meats here in Seattle the old fashioned way.

Tutti di Candied Frutti
Candied lemons, cherries and oranges are the festive fruits to have around throughout the holidays - especially when they are the candied kind. Candied cherries and citrus peels are what makes many of our favorite holiday breads what they are.
These fruits come from France and we have found them to be the best all-around choice. Not mushy and not too hard, they taste and work just the way you expect and want them to.
Made by Duchesse de Montizac in the region known as Pèrigord Vert, all their candied fruits are made on the premises from premium quality fruit. They use a slow, traditional candying process of dipping and draining the fruit over several days to achieve the optimum sweetness and moisture, and no coating is used after the candying process is complete so that the optimum moist texture and natural fruit crunch is maintained. The candied fruit is then packaged immediately to retain its full flavor and moisture.
These candied gems are perfect for a whole host of applications. Perfect for dipping into your favorite dark chocolate couverture for a wonderful treat; whether used as a hand-made holiday gift, or served with your after dinner coffee. Or, dice then up and use them in a host of baking and confectionery applications, from cookies and cakes to puddings and tarts.
Color, flair, sweetness and tartness - eat 'em like candy or bake with them to make others happy!

Traditional Cumberland SauceA traditional, fruit-based condiment usually eaten with non-white meats, such as venison, ham or lamb. So, if you are looking for something delicious to accompany your Christmas ham, Hawkshead Cumberland Sauce just might be the perfect thing.
Originally created in the late 19th century, many believe that this classic British sauce was named after the Duke of Cumberland - even though the sauce was invented in Germany. Although the connection to the Duke is questionable, the popularity of this red current based concoction in the Cumbria region of England is without question. It is the quintessential British condiment.
Rich, pungent and pourable, Cumberland Sauce is usually served with ham and cold meats during the holiday season. It is the Brit’s version of American cranberry sauce. This one is made by hand by Mark and Maria Whitehead of the Hawkshead Relish Company. Based in the Lake District of England, Hawkshead Relish is dedicated to not only high quality products, but no artificial colorings, flavorings or preservatives. They use only the finest, freshest ingredients - down to the spices, which they roast and grind themselves.
