Something for Everyone – New Additions to Our PKU Products
It’s National PKU  Awareness Month, and Vitaflo is excited to have recently introduced a few new additions to our comprehensive PKU product line, offering even more options to meet everyone’s needs. PKU coolers are nutritionally acceptable for ages 3 years and older and come in various pack sizes to meet your daily nutrient needs. This eliminates the need to make age-related product changes. In addition to the flexibility and convenience of the coolers, enjoying one couldn’t be any easier as there is no preparation required – simply shake, open and drink!
Vitaflo’s PKU gel and express powdered products are the way to go if you’re looking for endless variety in the ways you can prepare your formula to meet your taste preference and prevent flavor fatigue. Additionally, Vitaflo is excited to introduce KeyOmega and DocOmega, which are powdered forms of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fats. These are important for brain development and heart health. Both can be easily added to any protein substitute or low protein diet where rich sources of such nutrients through foods are not permitted. KeyOmega is a blend of both DHA & ARA, which is ideal for use with any of the Vitaflo Gel products.
Incorporating KeyOmega into a toddler or young patient’s daily routine is a practical way of ensuring DHA & ARA requirements are met. For older kids and adults, DocOmega contains DHA only and can be used alongside all Vitaflo Express products to increase adequate daily DHA intake. Both KeyOmega and DocOmega are for use in ages one and older.
