Welcome to VitaFriends

Dear VitaFriend,

We hope you have enjoyed the long, warm days of summer and are sneaking in a few more fun and sunny days before the hustle and bustle of fall arrives in just a few short weeks.

This edition of the VitaFriends newsletter introduces new flavor extensions to our Cooler special products, as well as what some patients and dietitians think about the new addition. You'll also enjoy a VitaFriend success story, a delicious recipe, updates from special advocacy groups, as well as upcoming activities!

Make sure to send us your input, ideas and stories for future editions by sending an email to Vitaflo@VitafloUSA.com, and feel free to forward this to your friends and family members as well.

Best wishes for the finish of a safe and enjoyable summer!

The Vitaflo USA Team

With the help of their parents, 12 children completed the study by answering a questionnaire. To see the results, click here.

Meet a VitaFriend

PICTURE: Meet a VitaFriend Bharat RamanujamMy name is Bharat Ramanujam. I am 28 years old and live with my parents in California. I was diagnosed at the age of 2 with a condition called Homocystinuria (similar to PKU), which is due to the absence of an enzyme, called Cystathionine ß Synthase. I have been on low-protein products and a supplemental methionine-free protein formula ever since diagnosis.

Read more about Bharat and how he manages his condition in order to allow him to pursue his love of working with animals and computers.
