In the winter of 2010, a group of children with Tyrosinemia, aged 3 and over from the province of Quebec were invited to take part in a product acceptability study for TYR Cooler Red, arranged by Vitaflo International. Meet a VitaFriend
 My name is Bharat Ramanujam. I am 28 years old and live with my parents in California. I was diagnosed at the age of 2 with a condition called Homocystinuria (similar to PKU), which is due to the absence of an enzyme, called Cystathionine ß Synthase. I have been on low-protein products and a supplemental methionine-free protein formula ever since diagnosis.
