San Giacomo Balsamico
There is nothing like a great deal, especially when the item is aged to perfection and is one of the finest delicacies you can buy. These days, when everything seems to be going up, it's both rare and surprising when something as fine as this is offered to us at almost half the price! (A savings we share with you!)

I can't rave enough about how special Andrea Bezzecchi's Balsamic Vinegar creations are. Each and every taste that Andrea has shared with us has been "eye closing" (so good you close your eyes in) bliss.

The subtle flavors, the "notes", of San Giacomo balsamicos are exquisite. They are my favorite Balsamicos for their depth and complexity. It is pulled from the same battery of barrels in the Acetaia as that which will eventually become Essenza, as well as the honorary Red, Silver and Gold bottles. As you smell the San Giacomo you feel the acidity tickle the hairs in your nose as your senses pass on the information to your brain. And when you taste it, there is a sweetness on the tip of your tongue, followed by hints of the wood barrels the balsamic has lived in, and then it finishes with a pleasant acidity in your throat.

Honey, it's cold outside!
If you like honey, this is for you.
If you like tasmanian honey, this is definitely for you.
If your throat itches, this is for you.
If it's cold outside, this is for you.
If it's the winter where you are, this is for you.

Baby, it's cold outside!

This is a lozenge wrapped up in a honey of a shell. A sweet candy made from the sugar of one of the finest treats on the planet. Hard, like a classic Lilliputian, it starts with a stubbly feel on the tongue and then transforms almost immediately to a glassy smooth finish. The distinct honey taste starts slowly, revealing itself as you roll the candy around in your mouth. It is pleasantly refreshing - not some aggressive menthol taste attacking your senses. Nor is it some super sweet thing that you bite into with the hope that it will get better.

These honey drops are, in fact, nicely placed between good for you and a treat. The honey, if you are not familiar, is revered by many around the world. It has a distinct taste that can only come from latitude 47. And, even the biggest honey doubter will enjoy these simple, pop-in-your-mouth, make-you-feel-good candies!

I really can't say - Honey it's cold outside
I've got a cold that won't go away - Honey it's cold outside
This evening has been - Been hoping that you'd drop in

Say, what's in this candy - No fat to be had in here
I wish I knew how - Your drops are like sugar
I really can't say - Honey don't hold out

Albert & Kim Katz December's New Oil
Attractive from the very first time you see it; wrapped up in its black suit of a bottle, to-the-point lettering, with the key words surround the rooster exclaiming, New Oil!.

The first to arrive of the two thousand ten pressings, we opened our sample with great anticipation. If you are quick with your nose you can get a wonderfully full whiff of the oil vapor just after you open the bottle for the first time.

Like last year, the oil is a beautiful green - mesmerizing as you stare at its sheen. It has a full, smooth feel in the mouth. With less pronounced "early" olive and more sophisticated mature olive feel. Almost salty in taste on the edges of the tongue and without the harsh ripe olive taste that sometimes comes with new oils. Taken in small sips, it is intoxicating and one wants to have more. If you want fire in the throat, take a big sip to get the desired burn! Nature is an interesting partner and this year has been kind to us through Albert and Kim Katz's December's New Oil!

Extremely limited quantities! Albert only bottles a very small amount, only enough to last through the first half of December. Please don't hesitate.
