Dear VitaFriend,
Warm winter greetings as the holiday season is upon us! As 2009 comes to a close and we partake in all of the festivities and merriment that make this time of year so cheerful and memorable, Vitaflo would like to thank you for being a part of our VitaFriends community. We've had a great time over the past year communicating with and meeting many of you at the numerous events and activities we attended, and we look forward to seeing you at many of the same walks, camps and picnics in the New Year.

My name is Lindsey and I am 25 years old. I have always had troubles drinking formula when growing up, and to be honest I was especially not good with the whole diet for many years. Formula was the main problem and stubbornness was another problem. Read more about what made Lindsey change from the curator of a basement museum of rejected formulas to someone that happily increased her daily intake to support her wish to get pregnant.

My twenty-one year old daughter Melissa has been drinking Vitaflo MMA/PA Express for 6-7 years.
For her entire life, diet management has been the key to Melissa's survival with the rare metabolic disorder Propionic Acidemia. And like so many other kids with "PA" or other rare organic acidemia disorders, Melissa has been tube-fed her special formula (she calls her "milk") since she was two years old. Tube feeding was elected because it gave us greater control over Melissa's intake volume and it avoided having to deal with the taste of the milk. To this day Melissa gets her milk via a tube three times each day. This presented a particularly difficult situation when Melissa started having lunch at school.
