 
Mother's Day is a celebration of some of the most important women in our lives. The women who have helped us grow and nurtured us throughout our lives, and even the lives of our children. Mothers!
Like the Phoenix, Mothers create a safe nest when we are first born, and then, with great strength and self-persecution, they set fire to the nest in order to help us learn to fly on our own. We do, eventually, learn to fly on our own. And, we often believe that we have done it all on our own. But, as time passes, and as we go through life and career, we eventually realize how much our mothers sacrificed to allow us to have success "on our own."
Today, so many years later, we find our Mother (and sometimes our Grandmother) once again imparting their wisdom, love and care upon our offspring. Without these important women in our lives we would, of course, find "our own way." But, because they are there to help, we eventually come to understand what an immeasurable difference they are making to us and to our children each and every day.
We make a point to thank our mothers on a particular day every year - with cards, flowers and, of course, chocolate. This year, on May 10th, we will celebrate the mothers who pushed us out of the nest, caught us when we fell, and nurtured our life so that it could be born again and again.
Remember to celebrate your Mom, the mother of your children, and all the mothers in our life. Celebrate by having chocolate and giving chocolate on this symbolic day. Savor the flavor of chocolate - one of Mother Nature's finest moments.

Every once in awhile we have success with getting something for less money! As a company we try very hard to work with all of our suppliers and producers and remain dedicated to them. We take change very seriously. Sometimes, though, change is necessary, and in this case resulted in a significantly better price.
As Do Mar tuna is one of our oldest and most favorite items. Those that know the product know that the price has been jumping - skyrocketing - upwards over the past year or so. So high, in fact, that we stopped eating it ourselves! Now we can eat it again - As do Mar tuna straight out of the can, again!
